Dec 2021 Annual Members Meeting Summary
We kicked off with a welcome by President Bonnie Miller then introductions all around. She reported that AGP thrived and kept art alive in year two of the pandemic. Thanks to members and in collaboration with Sanchez Art Center staff, our 100% volunteer-run non-profit membership organization continued our mission to increase the awareness and appreciation of artists and their works. We creatively pivoted with each pandemic mandate to offer benefits we’ve come to expect, launched new opportunities, and streamlined processes. The 2021 Board was thanked and the 2021 Year was reviewed. We did a lot! Thank you to members for volunteering your time and skills, contributing ideas, exhibiting, attending shows and events, and promoting AGP. The election of 4 board members for 2022 was unanimous. The 2022 board and program was were presented. The floor opened for questions, comments, suggestions, and interest in volunteering. Several suggestions and questions were discussed.
